At DaVarg, we exclusively use authentic vegetable-tanned top-grain or full-grain leather sourced from Italian or U.S.-based tanneries for crafting Heming watch straps. Since watch straps are intended for daily wear, we prefer pebbled leather for its exceptional resilience to scratches and resistance to moisture. The pebbled texture also enhances the leather’s natural character, giving the watch straps a unique, multi-tonal appearance.

Every Heming watch strap is meticulously handcrafted using traditional Western saddle-crafting techniques. Each strap is saddle-stitched by hand, employing a single thread and two needles to create crisscross stitches that are significantly stronger than machine-made lock stitches. This method allows us to use thicker, more durable bonded threads, ensuring precise, uniformly aligned stitching.
